Your mission
We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Accounting Specialist to join our team in Karlsruhe, Germany reporting to the Accounting Manager.
- Responsible for all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cashflow management, and Revenue Recognition for our German HQ and local subsidiaries.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and monthly financial forecasts.
- Coordinate and prepare local financial statements.
- Remain up-to-date with technical accounting updates and compliance.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage and comply with local tax requirements and filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Liaise with our Order Management, Group Accounting, Tax and Controlling teams to improve financial procedures.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Perform and oversee the monthly closing process for German HQ and local subsidiaries, ensuring accurate and on-time reporting in HGB and IFRS.
- Provide insightful financial analysis, including trends and performance metrics.
