Your mission
- You support the efficient and high-quality execution of general ledger accounting as part of an international accounting team.
- You independently handle all general ledger postings for several international entities.
- You are responsible for posting accruals, provisions, intercompany transactions, and other general ledger entries in compliance with legal requirements and internal guidelines.
- You serve as a point of contact for internal departments and external partners regarding inquiries related to postings, reconciliations, and balance sheet items.
- You analyze balance sheet and P&L accounts, identify discrepancies, and support the implementation of appropriate measures to ensure financial data quality.
- You assist in the continuous improvement of processes, policies, and internal controls within the general ledger function.
- You actively contribute to the optimization and automation of our GL processes, as well as the implementation and further development of ERP systems and reporting tools.
- You support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS – especially in report creation, account reconciliation, and documentation of balance sheet items.
- You work closely with internal departments (e.g. AR/AP team, Controlling, Group Accounting, Tax, Treasury) and with external partners such as auditors.
- You ensure that all your activities in the General Ledger area comply with legal requirements, corporate policies, and compliance standards.
- You report to the Team Lead General Ledger.
