Financial Modeling Specialist (m/f/d) - FP&A

At PTV Logistics, a leading global software company for transportation logistics, we are moving beyond historical reporting toward a forward-looking financial architecture that enables better, faster, and more confident decisions.

As a Financial Modeling Specialist, you will not maintain spreadsheets for reporting’s sake.
You will design and own the financial models leadership uses to understand the future — how strategy, pricing, growth, and capital allocation interact across the group.

• Build and continuously improve long-range financial models for a modern SaaS business

• Model key value drivers such as ARR, retention, margins, and unit economics

• Run scenarios and sensitivity analyses

• Challenge assumptions and stress-test growth hypotheses

• Translate financial complexity into clear decision narratives

• Support leadership in answering strategic questions, such as:

  • What happens if pricing changes?

  • How resilient is growth under different market conditions?

  • Where should we invest to maximize long-term value?

• Several years of experience in FP&A, financial modeling, investment banking, or transaction services

• Ideally experience in a high-growth SaaS environment

• Deep understanding of SaaS business models, unit economics, and retention dynamics

• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with structured datasets

• Experience with SQL or modern FP&A tools is a plus

• Strong communication skills and ability to explain financial logic to non-finance stakeholders

• Systems thinker with a structured and analytical mindset

• High ownership mentality and desire to create real impact
