Team Lead - Account Receivables (m/w/d) - (limited for one year)

Your mission

  • Take on the professional leadership of the international Accounts Receivable team and ensure efficient, high-quality receivables accounting.

  • Be responsible for the proper execution of all receivables management processes across multiple international entities.

  • Manage and monitor incoming payments and the dunning process in compliance with legal and internal requirements.

  • Act as the central point of contact for internal departments and external customers regarding invoices, payments, and outstanding items.

  • Analyze receivables, initiate measures to reduce outstanding balances, and continuously improve payment behavior.

  • Further develop processes, policies, and internal controls within Accounts Receivable, ensuring their consistent implementation.

  • Actively contribute to the optimization and automation of AR processes, including the implementation and enhancement of ERP systems and tools (especially Chargebee).

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, particularly through reconciliations of customer accounts, accruals, and intercompany receivables.

  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners while ensuring full compliance with legal requirements and group policies.

  • Direct reporting line to the Director Accounting & Group Accounting.

Your profile

  • Successfully completed a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field—ideally with a focus on Finance or Accounting.

  • Bring several years of experience in international Accounts Receivable, including at least two years in a leadership role.

  • Possess strong expertise in receivables management, revenue recognition, and relevant accounting and tax regulations.

  • Experienced with ERP systems and subscription tools; knowledge of SAP Business ByDesign, Zuora, or Chargebee is a plus.

  • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented, with a strong affinity for numbers.

  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.

  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, team orientation, and leadership, with a passion for developing and mentoring team members.
